Years ago, Peter David came up with the "Mystery Sandman Theater 3000" concept as a filler idea for his cool "But I Digress" column in Comics Buyer's Guide. In July 1998, I MiSTied comics from my own collection to entertain some friends. You can see the results of the experiment here. --Jen
